Exciting British boxer Sam Eggington takes on Przemyslaw Zysk’s challenge at the Skydome in Coventry on Saturday night. The 28-year-old Eggington holds the WBC Silver middleweight title while his opponent is undefeated with an 18-0-0 record and will be tough to win in the middleweight clash which could see the winner enter the race for the world title.

Eggington won back-to-back British Boxing Board of Control Fight of the Year awards, showing just how big fans of the show at the Coventry Skydome could be on Saturday night. His last fight was a thrilling win over Bilel Jkitou who won the 2021 award while his loss to Ted Cheeseman in 2020 won the same title.

“I am always ready,” said Eggington. “I know how my fights go, so we always prepare for that.”

“I know my fights are going to end in a slug party, a grueling night’s work. He added, ‘So I’m preparing for this. If I get in there and throw a punch and it puts them out early, that’s great. But if I don’t, I know I have to drag them out there and keep them there until they give up,” Eggington added.

“When I’m in the ring it kills me too. I don’t know if I have four more rounds, three rounds but I’m still going to get there. I really put it down to hard work.”
