Airtel launches Airtel IQ Video solution for streaming platforms
Bharti Airtel has launched its Video as a Service (CPaaS) platform â€œAirtel IQ Videoâ€ which leverages Airtel’s resilient cloud and advanced video technologies. The solution was developed by Airtel’s internal engineering teams.
During the beta phase, Airtel IQ Video was also deployed by Eros Now and CG Telecom from Nepal. Airtel expects to integrate more than 50 brands on the platform in the coming year, as market interest has been high.
Airtel IQ Video enables businesses to create world-class video streaming products for large and small screens with minimal investment in infrastructure and technology. It is an end-to-end managed solution that combines convenience and cost efficiency. It encompasses a variety of features ranging from application development, content hosting, curation and lifecycle management to models of search and discovery, analytics and monetization (advertising, subscriptions, transactions).

Raj TV used Airtel IQ Video to take the OTT route to serve increasingly digitally savvy consumers. â€œWe had a content library of over 30,000 hours with some of the best Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam movies. But most of this content was on analog tapes / formats, and audiences want to access it through OTT as well. Airtel IQ, a cloud-based omnichannel communication platform, enables brands to deepen their engagement with their customers through fast and secure communication. According to RBSA Advisors, the Indian video OTT market is expected to reach $ 12.5 billion by 2030, compared to $ 1.5 billion currently.
