The first lady is definitely a series to discover during Droughtlander. Where to turn to watch the episodes each week?
If you haven’t started watching it yet, you’ll want to turn to The first lady to cross part of Droughtlander. The series follows three former first ladies: Eleanor Roosevelt, Betty Ford and Michelle Obama played by Gillian Anderson, Michelle Pfeiffer and Viola Davis respectively.
The series gives us insight into the women behind the powerful men in America. What did they do to help the American people during their tenure? How have they improved health care, livelihoods and equality for women?
There are already eight episodes in the series, with two more to come. It is not presented as a limited series. Instead, it’s billed as an anthology series, which means there’s a chance for more stories about other first ladies.

Where are you going to broadcast the series? It’s a show on Showtime. It is a premium cable network that has an app, just like STARZ. So you can watch it live on the channel or you can get the app. It’s yours!
Showtime is part of the Paramount Network. We’ll eventually see Showtime and Paramount+ merge, but for now, they’re separate. You can get Showtime through Amazon Channels or you can access it directly.
The series is not yet available for purchase on digital or DVD. It’s no surprise since it just aired on the premium cable network. just like Foreign, the series will receive a digital and DVD release at a later date. We don’t know when that will be yet.
