Aldar Properties, the leading property developer in the United Arab Emirates, has become the official property partner of Premier League club Manchester City FC.

The partnership will see City and Aldar work together on a number of development projects in the UAE region. Aldar will use Manchester City’s brand and intellectual property to promote specific residential projects to the club’s global audience.


The DP World Tour has announced a new event in the UAE which will begin next month.

The Ras Al Khaimah Team Challenge is a one-day exhibition event, which will be played on February 8 at Al Hamra Golf Club, with 26 teams of two professionals per team. The event will be broadcast live in the UK and Ireland on Sky Sports.


Extreme Networks, the cloud-based networking company, has become Manchester United’s official Wi-Fi network analytics and solutions provider.

The group will install Extreme Wi-Fi 6 hotspots at Old Trafford from the end of this year to improve the fan experience and increase the club’s ability to deliver secure digital services. Additionally, Extreme will help Manchester United access real-time network analytics to make more personalized and informed decisions regarding both fan experience and overall venue operations.


Actiph Water has become an Official Supplier of the Liverpool 2022 Gymnastics World Championships, supplying its Alkaline Ionized Water products to event volunteers and staff.

The partnership will see the planting of 1,000 trees as part of Actiph’s “tree per case” campaign, as well as widespread on-site recycling facilities during the championships.


Audiovisual production agency Whisper has appointed Pete Thomas to lead its sports production team as head of sports.

Thomas, formerly with Noah Media Group, has over 15 years of sports broadcasting experience covering Premier League and UEFA Champions League football, as well as American football and NFL rugby.
