MLB releases American League Division series broadcast schedule

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The Tampa Bay Rays kick off their 2021 American League Division opener Thursday night at Tropicana Field against the New York Yankees or Boston Red Sox. The winner of Tuesday night’s game will determine that.

If you’re planning on watching games with friends away from Tropicana Field, Major League Baseball announced its first divisional playoff schedule on Monday. FS1 and MLB Network will have exclusive live coverage of the American League Division Series presented by Good Sam. TBS will provide exclusive live coverage of the National League Division Series presented by Good Sam and all playoffs from NL.

The 2021 playoffs open with Tuesday’s American League Wild Card Game presented by Hankook Tire on ESPN on October 5, featuring host Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees visiting Fenway Park. On Wednesday, October 6, the National League Wild Card Game presented by Hankook Tire on TBS will feature the host of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals visiting Dodger Stadium. On Thursday, October 7, the Chicago White Sox face the Astros in Houston, and the Rays host either the Yankees or the Red Sox.
