How to watch Roland-Garros 2022 tennis on TV and live

The French Open is approaching with the winds of change pushing the world’s best tennis players towards Roland-Garros – and there is a potential coronation of a new king to look forward to.

Rafael Nadal may be the king of clay, but a pretender to the throne has emerged in the form of fellow Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz Garfia.

19-year-old sensation Alcaraz Garfia won the Barcelona Open and the Madrid Open before withdrawing from the Italian Open this week to rest ahead of Roland Garros.

He beat Nadal, world No. 1 Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev on his way to the title in Madrid and is seen as a real threat to win his first Grand Slam in Paris.

In the women’s game, 2020 champion and reigning world No. 1 Iga Swiatek will be hoping to extend her dominance atop the leaderboard in her maiden Grand Slam event while sitting at the top.

British stars Andy Murray, Emma Raducanu, Dan Evans and Cam Norrie are all set to take part in the French Open with high hopes the latter two can go further in the tournament. Murray and Raducanu are under pressure to make the most of Grand Slam opportunities.

Fans around the world will be determined to see who will rise to the occasion in Paris, and there are plenty of ways to soak up the drama in the UK.
